Foul and Fair: Chief Wahoo and the R*dskins

Jacquline Keener, a Native activist, spent time with me during the World Series to discuss "mascotry" a term she defines as "the grotesque caricature of Native persons, cultures, identities in sports." My Foul and Fair partner, the astounding Morgan Lee, reached out to Lou Moore, a professor of American history and Joyce Huang, a Cleveland Indians fan conflicted about her favorite team. Many gems were dropped, this was one of my favorite F&F's to create.
